On Friday, the Patriots brought back former assistant/Defensive Coordinator, Matt Patricia as an assistant to Bill Belichick’s coaching staff. Patricia was previously the head coach of the Detroit Lions, where he amassed a record of 13-29-1 (.314).
Patricia hopes to find more success in New England. In his previous tenure from 2004-2017, he won three Super Bowls (39, 49, and 51). Serving as the Defensive Coordinator in Super Bowls 49 and 51.
Hopefully, Patricia is able to help the Patriots, and bring them back to their winning ways for the 2021 season and beyond.
