The Boston Celtics take on the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at 7 PM ET. You can find the game on NBC Sports Boston and 98.5 The Sports Hub Radio. The Celtics look to bounce back after dropping two straight games to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Boston has lost two games in a row both to the Sixers. However, Jaylen Brown has performed well in both of these losses. Last time out he ended with 42 points. This should be another great offensive game for Brown against against a Cavaliers team that isn’t great defensively. The C’s have struggled down-low against big men as of late. It will be a tough task for Tristan Thompson and company to contain Cavs Center Andre Drummond. The Celtics will again be without Star Forward Jayson Tatum again as well.
Celtics Injury Report
Jayson Tatum: OUT (Health/Safety)
Romeo Langford: OUT (Wrist)
Payton Pritchard: OUT (Knee)
Aaron Nesmith: Questionable (Back)
The Cleveland Cavaliers look to improve to a record of 9-7 with a win tonight against Boston. Last time out Cleveland came away with a 125-113 win against the Brooklyn Nets. Collin Sexton has been on a tear recently. In the two games against Brooklyn Sexton’s combined stats were 67 points, 14 assists, and 7 rebounds. Sexton doesn’t seem to be slowing down, so Kemba Walker is going to need to bear down to stop Sexton.
Matthew Dellavedova: OUT (Concussion)
Kevin Love: OUT (Calf)
The Celtics should be able to bounce back and grab a win tonight. Jaylen will continue his offensive outburst with 37 points. Next, the Cleveland leading scorer will be Collin Sexton with 29 points. Last, Cavs center Andre Drummond should be able to pull down double digit rebounds with a total of 13.
Final Score: 117-105 Celtics
