The Eagles lose another close game to Wake Forest 69-65. The game was a lot different than the score suggested though. The Eagles, were right there with the Demon Deacons for most of the game, but couldn’t come through in the end. There was one point where Wake was up by 12, but BC fought right back into it.

It was a winnable game all the way up to the 1 minute mark of the game. The Eagles were down by 5 and needed a big 3 to have a chance, they had many chances but could not connect from 3 to get the game down to 2 points and hope for a missed free throw for the win.

The Eagles had a rough shooting night, ending up shooting 24% from 3 and 32% from the field. In spite of the Eagles losing, there were a few players that still played very well versus the Deacons. Jay Heath led the scoring with 20 points and CJ Felder got a double double with 17 points and 14 rebounds. Rich Kelly also had a good game with 13 points.

This game makes the Eagles 3-13 on the year and 1-8 in ACC play. A tough season so far for the Eagles. It just gets even more tough as wellwith a rough stretch of games coming towards the end of ACC play. The Eagles next game is scheduled against Syracuse this Saturday at Syracuse. The Eagles look to try to end there 3 game losing streak.
