On Monday, the Patriots brought back defensive linemen Deatrich Wise. According to Jeff Howe, the deal is up to $30M across 4 years, with $10M guaranteed.
Wise has been with the Pats since 2017, and has only missed 2 games in his career, both of which came in 2019. The 6-5 defensive lineman had a decent year in 2020, with 2.5 sacks, 49 combined tackles, two tackles for loss, and 21 pressures in a career high 7 starts.
He should be a nice accomplice to newly signed DL’s Matthew Judon and Davon Godchaux.
