The Patriots continued their busy Monday, signing former Eagles and Raiders pass-catcher Nelson Agholor. The Pats will be giving Agholor a 2-year deal worth $22 million with $4 million in incentives.
Agholor, who’s had issues with drops in recent years with the Eagles, had a nice rebound in 2020 with the Raiders. In 5 years with Philly, across 71 games and 62 starts, he had 2515 yards with 18 TD’s. In 2020, Agholor had 48 catches for 896 yards and 8 touchdowns.
Agholor, 27, a deep threat receiver who could stretch the field with his speed, should be a nice signing for Belichick. Agholor is the second ex-Eagle of the day who has been signed by Belichick, and the second player who was a part of the Eagles team that won Super Bowl 52 against the Patriots in 2018. The first one was the signing of Jalen Mills.
