Daniel Theis is rumored to be headed to Chicago, as well as Javonte Green for two players. One of which is Mo Wagner, who has now been on three teams today. Kornet is averaging 2 PPG in 7 minutes per game, as a role player for the Wizards. Wagner on the other hand, is an asset the Celtics could use.
Wagner, 23, was dealt earlier this morning to the Bulls from the Wizards in a package that included Troy Brown, after spending two and a half years with the Wizards. He’s is a capable three-point shooter, and is having a pretty good year so far. In 26 games he’s averaging 7.1 PPG in 15 minutes per game.
Wagner is a young center that has never really got the chance to be a starter in his career. Thomas Bryant has been the main focus for the Wizards for the past few years in Washington.
Kornet, 25, has been a role player his whole career. In 13 games, he’s averaging 2 points and 7 minutes per game this season.
Theis, 28, in 42 games is averaging 9.5 PPG in 24.5 Minutes a game. He’s been the starting center all year for the Celtics after breaking out last year with the departure of Al Horford. Daniel Theis has been a huge part of the Celtics this season.
Green, 27, is a role player for the Celtics similar to Kornet is. The 6-foot-4 guard is averaging 4.2 Points and 13.8 minutes a game.
