The Patriots have selected Oklahoma power-back Rhamondre Stevenson in the fourth round with the 120th pick in the NFL draft.

Stevenson spent the last two years as an Oklahoma Sooner, after spending the previous two seasons at a junior college.

The 5-foot-11 tailback had 1,478 yards across two seasons at Oklahoma. In a suspension plagued 2020 where he missed the first five games, he still managed to accumulate 876 yards and seven touchdowns on just 119 touches.

The suspension was due to a failed drug test, same as the Patriots previous pick edge rusher Ronnie Perkins, who was drafted

Stevenson adds to the Patriots backfield, which already has Damien Harris, James White, JJ Taylor, and will also see the return of Brandon Bolden, who opted out of the 2020 season.
