In round 6 of the NFL Draft, the Patriots picked Missouri safety Joshuah Bledsoe at pick No. 188.

Bledsoe stands at 6’0 flat, weighing around the 200 pound mark.

In 2020, Bledsoe racked up 41 tackles, 2.5 of those for loss. He broke up six passes, and added one interception.

The safety depth on the Patriots’ roster consists of Adrian Phillips, Jalen Mills, Devin McCourty, Kyle Dugger, Brandon King, and Joejuan Jones. The safety pick makes sense following the retirement announcement of Pats legend Patrick Chung.
