Boston played their final game of the regular season Tuesday night against the Washington Capitals. Bruins started Jeremy Swayman and Caps went with Vitek Vanecek.
Boston scored a lone goal for the entire 60 minutes, a goal by Curtis Lazar assists coming from Jared Tinordi and Jake Debrusk. Jeremy Swayman pulled out a great effort saving 30 shots out of 32. Capitals scored the game winning goal with 1.8 seconds left in the game.
Boston struggled heavily on offense due part for Boston resting it’s starters for the game. Bruins only had 25 shots on goal, and having a face off winning percentage of 37.8%.
Washington will host Boston for the first round of the playoffs. Will a rested and healthy Bruins team take down the Caps in the first round?
