It has been a total of 448 days since the Boston Bruins had a full capacity crowd. A regular season game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, a game they lost 5-3. Tonight’s Game 1 of the second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs will be the first time the Bruins welcome back a full crowd.
”Can’t wait to see that and how loud it’s gonna be how excited the fans are gonna be. Definitely gonna have a huge adrenaline rush off of that.” Brad Marchand said during the pre-game press conference Saturday.
Returning to the lineup tonight will be Jeremy Lauzon. Lauzon has been sidelined since Game 1 against the Capitals. During morning rushes Lauzon was paired with Connor Clifton on the third defensive line.
The last time the B’s won in a full stadium was February 27th, 2020. A 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars, a sight that lot of Bruins fans hope to see tonight.
