According to Darren Dredger, after many talks with GM Don Sweeney, it looks like Taylor Hall is staying in Boston with a four-year, $24 million dollar deal, that includes a $6 million dollar annual value.
Hall was traded to Boston from Buffalo at last seasons trade deadline for Anders Bjork and a second round pick. Hall played 16 regular season games and all 12 playoff games, scoring eight goals and tallying six assists in his time with Boston’s playoff push. Hall has 680 games played over a 10-year career with 228 goals and 368 assists.
When addressing the media this morning, Sweeney said “we’ve made significant progress” on signing the forward.
Hall is a perfect fit for the second line for Boston, and getting him for only a cap hit of $6 million gives Boston still plenty of room to make more signings.
