The Boston Bruins selected 18 year old Fabian Lysell with the 21st pick in the 2021 NHL Draft on Friday.

Lysell played for Luleå HF in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). The winger stands 5-foot-10 and weighs 172 pounds. He has decent frame to play Right Wing, but would maybe want to add some muscle in the upcoming years in order to handle the NHL’s physicality.

Lysell played most of his time in the Frölunda HC system, where the 2020 fourth overall pick Lucas Raymond comes from.

The Bruins don’t have another pick until the thirrd round (85th overall). The remaining picks are numbers 117, 149, 181, 213, and 217 all picks taking place tomorrow on ESPN2 starting at 11:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
