The Revs were shaky in many areas of this match, but all that matters is they come out of it with all three points. New England has gotten the best of Montreal time and time again, so tonight’s result proved to be no different. Gustavo Bou’s screaming finish and hard hit low strike past James Pantemis accounted for both Revolution goals.

‘94 NE YELLOW CARD Christian Mafla
FULLTIME NE: 2 CFM: 1
The Revolution were able to prevail through the injury of their center back, and some rough substitutions. Adam Buksa also left the game with concussion symptoms very early in the first half. With Kessler, Turner, and Buchanan still gone, the Revs may have some depth problems as they continue the season without them. Nevertheless, New England picked up 9 points on 3 wins this week, leaving them all alone in first place atop MLS. They’ll play again in six days when they visit New York Red Bulls next Saturday.
