Basketball is back in Las Vegas for the second time this summer as NBA teams prepare to move in shortly after Team USA finished exhibition play there.

The Summer League will provide Boston fans with another opportunity to watch Celtics players in Vegas, but this time they will be donning their traditional green instead of national colors.

The C’s Summer League schedule was announced today and will take place from August 8th-17th:

  • August 8th, 4 pm ET vs. Atlanta (Cox Pavilion, NBA TV)
  • August 10th, 7 pm ET vs. Denver (Thomas & Mack Center, ESPNU)
  • August 12th, 7 pm ET vs. Orlando (Cox Pavilion, ESPN2)
  • August 14th, 5 pm ET vs. Philadelphia (Cox Pavilion, NBA TV)

Summer League playoffs will take place August 16th-17th.

While the Celtics have not announced who will be competing in these games, reports say, Yam Madar, a 2020 draft pick, will join the team in Vegas after spending last season playing at home in Israel. Madar is said to be ready to break into the NBA and show Boston fans what he will bring into the regular season.
