The Red Sox take on the Blue Jays tonight, as Toronto will look to even up the series in Thursday’s series finale.
Rafael Devers was removed from yesterday’s ballgame with a tweaked quad, and he gets the day off today. However, he would have received a day off anyways, as manager Alex Cora was planning on doing. Cora announced today that Devers is getting treatment, and will likely return tomorrow, although there’s a possibility of him not returning to the lineup for another day or two.
Bobby Dalbec will take his spot at third base, as he took over last night at the spot.
