The Boston Celtics have selected Juhann Begarin with the 45th pick in the NBA Draft.
Begarin is an 18-year-old prospect from Paris Basketball out of France. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard put up 11.9 points per game in his most recent season. He finished the season averaging a respectable 3.1 assists per game but began to show improvements in his playmaking and ball-handling towards the end of the season.
Begarin also boasts very promising defensive skills by averaging 1.4 steals per game and 0.5 blocks at the SG position.
This is the one and only pick the Celtics have rights to in this draft following their trade for Al Horford.
