The forward was drafted in the second round by Boston in 2017, scoring 877 points with 539 rebounds while representing The Green. The forward averaged 3.5 points per game in his career with the team while averaging 4.5 in 2021.
Ojeleye’s move highlights his history with Bucks’ Playoff MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo, holding him at only 16 points in Game 5 of Boston and Milwaukee’s opening round of the 2017-18 season playoffs. However, now that the previous Celtic will be joining a championship roster including, Jrue Holiday and PJ Tucker, Giannis will have Ojeleye’s defense on his side.
The 26-year-old who began his career with Boston will remain close to Celtics fans by staying in the same conference, and while fans may root against the Bucks, Ojeleye will carry their respect.
