Payton Pritchard has an excellent summer capped off with an All-Summer League first team honor. He finishes with averages of 16.8 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game. His most impressive accomplishment was his efficient three point shooting on high volume. The C’s guard made 46.9% of his long balls on 8.0 attempts per game, after missing two games after opting out due to personal reasons.

Pritchard built a lot of momentum for himself heading into this upcoming season. He will likely have an increased role off the bench for Udoka’s Celtics. With the C’s head coach’s emphasis on sharing the ball better, Pritchard’s improved playmaking could be a key factor for the teams success.

If Pritchard can continue to improve on his playmaking as well as continue to knock down his threes, he will become a real threat moving forward.
