Jayson Tatum is one of many basketball players to be inspired by the late, great, Kobe Bryant. The Celtics superstar is well-known for modeling his offensive game after Kobe’s, and Tatum decided to honor him further by getting a unique tattoo.
The tattoo features a black mamba snake designed as Kobe’s “24” jersey number. A slick design that incorporates two things synonymous with Bryant’s basketball legacy.
This move came shortly after Tatum’s decision to wear Kobe’s Olympic number for Team USA. He will likely continue to do things like this in order to carry on Kobe’s legacy.
You may have also noticed the Celtics forward wearing a purple arm band in the past. It says 24 on it to honor Bryant.
While Jayson Tatum is still coping with the loss of his mentor and friend, he will now be visibly honoring him forever.
