It’s just Week 2, and the Patriots already have a numerous amount of players that are dealing with injuries.
Kyle Van Noy was not spotted at practice Wednesday, as the linebacker is dealing with a throat issue. Trent Brown also missed practice Wednesday (calf), after exiting Sunday’s game vs. the Dolphins in just the first quarter — the tackle is still day-to-day.
Backup offensive tackle Yodny Castuje, who will likely see an increase in playing time Sunday vs. the Jets if he is healthy after Brown’s injury, was limited in practice (hamstring). Ronnie Perkins, who was questionable for Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury, was also limited as he continues to deal with the shoulder.
A trio of ankle injuries participated fully — Nelson Agholor, Jalen Mills, and Kyle Dugger. Both Agholor and Mills played through their ankle issues vs. Miami, as they were questionable — this is the first time Dugger has appeared on the injury report, but again, he did participate fully.
