Patriots Injury Report: Jonnu Smith Questionable vs. Jets, Quinn Nordin and Kyle Van Noy Out; 3 Others Remain Questionable

Jonnu Smith

Tight end Jonnu Smith and Quinn Nordin joined the list of players banged up ahead of Sunday’s Patriots-Jets. Smith was limited in practice Thursday and Friday with a hip injury.

Nordin is out for Sunday vs. New York with an abdomen injury, leaving Nick Folk, who was the starting kicker in Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins to be the starting kicker again.

Kyle Van Noy, who did not participate in practice for the past three days (throat), was listed as out after being questionable for Sunday. Trent Brown (calf) didn’t participate in Thursday’s practice but did in Friday’s practice, after missing Wednesday. Joining Smith and Brown as limited, was Yodny Castuje (Hamstring) and Ronnie Perkins (Shoulder).

Everyone except for Smith and Nordin had been dealing with these injuries prior to today and Thursday.
