The Boston Bruins announced their regular-season roster Tuesday. Here is the roster in full reside.
Forwards: Patrice Bergeron, Anton Blidh, Charlie Coyle, Jake DeBrusk, Nick Foligno, Trent Frederic, Taylor Hall, Erik Haula, Karson Kuhlman, Curtis Lazar, Brad Marchand, Tomas Nosek, David Pastrnak, Craig Smith
Defenseman: Brandon Carlo, Connor Clifton, Derek Forbort, Matt Grzelcyk, Charlie McAvoy, John Moore, Mike Reilly, Jakub Zboril
Goaltenders: Linus Ullmark, Jeremy Swayman
*Curtis Lazar will start the season on the Injured Reserve*
Some interesting cuts were Massachusetts own Chris Wagner, who will more than likely make his way over to the Providence Bruins. Another surprising cut made was Jack Studnicka who was having a decent preseason and rookie camp.
A surprise roster addition was Anton Blidh. Blidh signed a one-year, two way deal in the summer, but it was looking towards having the 26-year-old play one or two more years in Providence before making the big leap to the main roster.
The Bruins open up the season this Saturday, hosting former Bruin star Forward Tyler Seguin and his Dallas Stars.
