Red Sox broadcaster Jerry Remy passed away at the age of 68, after his seventh battle with cancer.

Remy stepped away from the booth in August to treat cancer. That was the end to his 34 years in the booth. The former Sox second baseman threw out the pitch of Boston’s Wild Card Game vs. the Yankees.
