The Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks, 122-113, in overtime on Friday night.

The Celtics played with lots of energy and passion, as Boston went on a surge at the end of the half; they headed into the locker room with a 55-51 lead.

With 9:45 to play in the third quarter, the Bucks regained the lead. But toward the end of the quarter, Boston took it back and the effort would continue. The Celtics went on another surge, extending the lead 88-81.

Down by five, Milwaukee went on a run as they tied it with 13 seconds left. Jayson Tatum had the final shot in regulation but could not convert.

The Bucks would play catch-up all of overtime, but they were able to cut the C’s’ lead to just one. However, Dennis Schroder would drill a pull-up jumper, and from there, the Celtics

Schroder was a major catalyst in Boston’s victory scoring 38 points on 16-for-27 shooting. Despite Tatum’s 10-for-25 shooting night, he was able to salvage 27 points.

The Celtics head on the road to take on the Cavaliers at 8:00 p.m. EST on Saturday night.
