Eduardo Rodriguez might not wear a pair of Red Sox again.

The lefty is rejecting his qualifying offer from Boston, making him a free agent. In addition to the qualifying offer, the Sox also reportedly offered him a multi-year deal on top of the $18.4M salary for 2022.

Rodriguez slated a 4.74 ERA in 2021 but was on the unluckier side of things in his 32 outings (31 starts). Opposing hitters notched a .363 BABIP against the southpaw, while the left-hander posted a career-best 3.32 FIP, 3.43 xFIP, and a 3.64 SIERA.
