The Boston Celtics are currently in a tough spot and need a quick turnaround before things get really bad. With Tonight’s 111-90 loss to the Phoenix Suns, The Celtics fall back under .500 with a 13-14 record. This loss also marks their third straight ugly loss.

The C’s got blown out by the Lakers, lost to a very shorthanded Clippers team, and got blown out by a Suns team without two of their best players.

Tonight’s game was not a pretty one for the Celtics. They shot an abysmal 4-for-26 from three on the game and 38% overall as a team from the field. The Suns on the other hand knocked down an efficient 14 threes and shot 45% from the field.

The Suns pulled away with a 22-5 run at the end of the second quarter and never looked back again.

Jayson Tatum continued to play well once again by scoring 24 points and grabbing seven rebounds. He also tied Demar DeRozan for the most points scored in the fourth quarter this season with 178. Other than that the Celtics really didn’t have many positives.

It is pretty clear that the team needs Jaylen Brown to return from his recurring hamstring issues and fast. They are currently reeling and life won’t get any easier on them. Their next two games are against the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks and the current best team in the league Golden State Warriors.

Luckily for the C’s, they will return to the confines of TD Garden where they hope to get a boost from the fans after a rough five-game road trip.
