Eight-year New England Revolution veteran Teal Bunbury is being traded to Nashville SC in tomorrow’s half-day trade window, according to several reports. Bunbury has been an integral part of the Revs since 2014 but has quickly regressed with age.
The trade will include $75,000 in allocation money, in addition to $75,000 of incentives. If Teal was to play a certain amount of games for Nashville next season, New England would pick up the helpful additional 75k.
Bunbury has been a great teammate and leader in New England, and his presence will be greatly missed. This may not be the only deal in the works for tomorrow, expect the Revs to be active. LA Galaxy’s Sebastian Lletget has been linked with the Revolution as well, so it will be interesting to see if that one comes to fruition as well.
