Patrice Bergeron is the most recent member of the Boston Bruins placed into COVID-19 Protocol. Bergeron will be joining line-mate Brad Marchand, and Craig Smith. Marchand and Smith were placed in protocol Tuesday afternoon.

Bergeron, in 25 games this season, has posted a 10-goal and 23-point stat line so far. The Captain was also starting a hot streak for himself, tallying two goals and five points in the previous five games.

After a 4-1 loss to the Vegas, a game where Bergeron scored the lone goal, the Bruins are now without two of the three players on their front line.

The rest of the week looks to be a rough one for the Bruins. They travel to New York to face the Islanders, then travel to Montreal and Ottawa on Saturday and Sunday.
