The NHL has decided to postpone Saturday’s Boston Bruins vs. Montreal Canadiens, and Thursday’s Bruins-Avalanche due to Boston’s COVID-19 outbreak. They have not postponed Sunday’s Bruins-Senators, however, nor Tuesday’s Bruins-Hurricanes.

The Bruins currently have seven players in COVID protocol. No makeup dates for the games has been established yet.

Habs forward Jonathon Drouin spoke out about the recent Boston covid outbreak and his concerns about playing them.

“I’m not really comfortable playing against a team that has so many cases of Covid,” Drouin said. “There are currently seven cases, but there could be three more tomorrow.”

Saturday’s game marks the 11th game postponed so far this season, the sixth one this week.

Boston is currently scheduled to face the Senators in Ottawa on Sunday.
