The New England Patriots continue to be one of the most banged up teams in football, as nine were limited in practice, while Nelson Agholor (concussion) and Rhamondre Stevenson (illness) were held out. In a pivotal week where they take on their division rival, the Buffalo Bills, they have a number of injuries.
Agholor (concussion) left Saturday’s game vs. the Colts early, joining N’Keal Harry (hip) — as the pair left early in the defeat to the Colts. Harry was limited in practice. To add to the potential lack of receiver depth this week, Kendrick Bourne was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
New England could potentially lack tailback depth as well, as the three usual game-day backs — Stevenson, Damien Harris (hamstring), and Brandon Bolden (knee) — all made it onto New England’s injury report Wednesday.
Matthew Slater also made his season debut on the injury report (illness).
Bills wideout Cole Beasley, who is unvaccinated, is on the reserve/COVID-19 list — his unvaccinated status will effect his availability mightily.
