Patriots Activate Josh Uche Off IR, Elevate 3 From Practice Squad Ahead of Sunday’s Game vs. Bills

Josh Uche

The Patriots made a series of roster moves Saturday, including the activation of Josh Uche off the injured reserve and the elevation of Kristian Wilkerson, Daniel Ekuale, and D’Angelo Ross from the practice squad.

The Patriots also activated Kendrick Bourne off the COVID-19 reserve, but placed Deatrich Wise Jr. on the COVID reserve. In addition, Rhamondre Stevenson and Nelson Agholor are out while eight players are questionable.

Uche returns after being spotted at practice all week. Uche landed on the IR in November with an ankle injury.

Wilkerson, 24, had an impressive preseason with New England and will be elevated with the absence of Agholor and potentially Harry. He’ll be making his first appearance of the season.

Ekuale has been elevated twice this season for New England, grabbing a sack in each of his two appearances against the Jets and Bills.

Ross, the 5-foot-9 corner, will be making his first appearance of the season for the Patriots.
