NHL Announces Two More Postponed Bruins Games; Charlie Coyle Enters COVID-19 Protocol

Bruins' Charlie Coyle

It’s been a really rough December for Boston Bruins Hockey fans, and it keeps getting worse. The NHL has postponed two more Bruins games, while Charlie Coyle recently went into COVID-19 protocols.

A home matchup tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins on December 27th, and an away matchup against the Ottawa Senators on December 29th. The Bruins’ last six games have been postponed and they haven’t played since Dec. 16. Barring additional postponements, the team won’t play again until January 1st.

The Bruins brought back Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron, Craig Smith, Trent Frederic, Anton Blidh and Curtis Lazar, and goaltender Jeremy Swayman from COVID-19 protocol on Sunday, but the team also announced Charlie Coyle entered protocols.
