The Boston Celtics failed to close out yet another game Monday night, falling to the Timberwolves, 108-103. The Celtics were outscored by 16 points in the second half to a team that was down all five of their starters.
Jaylen Brown led the way for the Celtics by scoring 26 points on a high volume of attempts. Pritchard also added 24 points, eight rebounds, and six assists of his own. Robert Williams had a forgettable performance tonight being outplayed by both Nathan Knight and Greg Monroe.
The only positive takeaways from tonight’s loss were the returns of Al Horford and Grant Williams. Both players put in really solid performances in their first games back from health and safety protocols.
Boston was without Jayson Tatum, who was placed in health and safety protocols today.
The C’s have a chance to bounce back on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers.
