Patriots Sign Adrian Phillips to 3-Year Extension (Reports)

Adrian Phillips

The New England Patriots have extended safety, Adrian Phillips, to a three-year deal, according to several reports. Adam Caplan was the first to report, and it was followed by ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

Caplan notes that his deal includes $7.25M of guaranteed money, while he can earn up to nearly double that.

The safety’s extension comes after leading the Patriots in tackles during his first season with New England, 2020, and he has tallied a career-high of four picks this season while leading the defense in PFF grade.

The Patriots begin their 2022 with a key extension.
