The New England Patriots have placed cornerback Myles Bryant and practice squad offensive lineman William Sherman on the Reserve/COVID-19 list following their 50-10 win over the Jaguars.
Bryant has had a whirlwind of the past few weeks, as he had a poor outing in New England’s loss to Buffalo but Bill Belichick gave him a game ball after their win against Jacksonville due to his strong performance, where he picked off Trevor Lawrence.
The 24-year-old defensive back’s role on the team changed after Jonathan Jones became unavailable for the rest of the season, and he’s had an up and down tenure on the 53-man roster since being placed on the active roster.
Sherman, 22, was a sixth-round pick out of Colorado in the 2021 NFL draft and has remained on the practice squad all season. The tackle has not been elevated for a game yet this season.
The two players are joining Yodney Cajuste on the list.
