Celtics Injury Report: Boston Will Nearly Return to Full Strength Against San Antonio Spurs as Jayson Tatum, 5 Others Back From Protocols

Celtics

The Boston Celtics have been dealing with loaded injury reports for the last two weeks. They have been without a handful of key players who will be looking to make their returns tonight as Boston takes on the San Antonio Spurs. The Celtics injury report is much less crowded tonight with Boston going for their third straight win and a .500 record.

Jayson Tatum will be available for tonight’s game after missing the last four games due to health and safety protocols. He returned to practice on Tuesday and told the media he was feeling much better than his previous experience with COVID-19.

“I feel a lot better with everything,” Tatum told reporters. “My quarantine was shorter, my body feels a lot better compared to my first couple of days back practicing than last year when I first came back.”

Enes Kanter Freedom was also in health and safety protocols but returned to practice alongside Tatum and will be available for tonight’s game. Romeo Langford, Aaron Nesmith, Jabari Parker, and Robert Williams III were all upgraded from probable/questionable to available according to the Celtics’ official injury report.

Celtics guard, Payton Pritchard, was a late addition to the injury report and has been placed in health and safety protocols.

The Celtics will be near full strength with all these players active and will tip-off against the Spurs at 7:30 p.m. ET.
