The Patriots could be without rookie defensive tackle Christian Barmore and offensive tackle Isaiah Wynn for the playoffs, as the two linemen suffered injuries in New England’s 33-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Only Barmore was carted off the field.
Bill Belichick didn’t offer any updates during his postgame press conference, but several reports did. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Barmore will have an MRI on his knee tomorrow. ESPN’s Mike Reiss also said to not expect him in the playoffs, and that “this type of thing will affect his offseason,” on Patriots Fifth Quarter.
Luckily for Wynn, his injury — an ankle injury — seems to be less severe than Barmore’s.

Also suffering injuries were Rhamondre Stevenson and practice squad call-up Sean Davis, but they both returned to the action. Wynn did not return to the action.
“I’m not sure exactly what happened (when Barmore got injured),” said Patriots quarterback Mac Jones postgame. “But I just told him that I love him, and I have his back no matter what. He’s a great player, and he’s been a great teammate to me at Alabama and obviously here, too.”
