The New England Patriots will swap cornerbacks on the Reserve/COVID-19 list, as Jalen Mills is being placed on the list while the Patriots are activating Myles Bryant. New England also reverted offensive lineman Will Sherman back to the practice squad, as he activated off of the COVID-19 list as well Tuesday.

Yodny Cajuste and Shaun Wade also remain on the list.

Bryant’s role heavily improved on the Patriots after Jonathan Jones suffered a season-ending injury, as the 24-year-old has had a roller-coaster past few weeks. Bryant had a poor outing vs. the Bills, before picking up an interception on his birthday against the Jaguars — then missing the season finale.

Mills has had a strong first season with New England, posting the second-best PFF grade out of all Patriots cornerbacks — only behind J.C. Jackson. His nine pass deflections have helped him reach 913 defensive snaps, good for third-best on New England’s defense.

New England looks forward to their Wild Card matchup Saturday night, vs. the Bills.
