The Boston Celtics come back to defeat the short-handed Chicago Bulls in the final moments of the fourth quarter.
After Boston fell behind 112-106 with just two minutes remaining, they were able to go on an 8-0 run to go up 114-112 and secure the win. Boston made big plays on both ends of the court over the final two minutes.
Robert Williams III knocked down four straight clutch free throws to give the Celtics the lead and ultimately win them the game. Jayson Tatum played great defense on DeMar DeRozan for the final two possessions and forced him into making tough plays.
On top of the incredible defense down the stretch, Tatum recorded another double-double with a 23 point and 12 rebound performance. Robert Williams III put up monster numbers with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and six assists.
Before this week, Boston was just 2-11 in games decided by five or fewer points but will finish this week 2-0 in those games.
The Celtics are entering a crucial point in the season with some very winnable games. They will start this stretch with the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.
