The Boston Celtics picked up a dominant bounce-back win against the Washington Wizards and snapped a two-game losing skid. This game was all about Jayson Tatum who was on fire from start to finish.
Tatum scored a season-high 51 points on a blistering 18-of-28 shooting from the field and also knocked down a career-high nine threes — in wake of his struggles. Tatum also tallied 10 rebounds and seven assists, finishing just three shy of a triple-double.

Prior to today’s game, Tatum had missed his last 22 three-point attempts before exploding against the Wizards. He found some comfort early on and didn’t have to force anything all game long.
No Celtic besides Tatum played particularly well. Jaylen Brown was the second-leading scorer on the night with 18 points but a rough 5-of-18 from the field.
The Celtics will look to carry this momentum when they take on the Kings this Tuesday.
