It wasn’t the sharpest night for Tuukka Rask, but it also wasn’t for the team in front of him, as the Boston Bruins suffered a 5-3 loss Monday night to the Anaheim Ducks.
“We want (Jeremy) Swayman,” the TD Garden crowd chanted toward the end of Monday night’s action.
Ryan Getzlaf opened the scoring 10 minutes into the affair with a clapper from the point, before Isac Lundestrom’s shot trickled in to put Anaheim up 2-0 early in the second period.

David Pastrnak was able to make it 2-1 and stay scorching hot with a one-timer fed from Tomas Nosek to make it a one-goal game. But, Getzlaf would make it a two-goal game again at the top of the circle just over 11 minutes into the second.
Brad Marchand would thread the needle with a perfectly placed pass to Taylor Hall, who’d get one back for Boston, but Anaheim would pick up two goals early in the third. Erik Haula’s goal to make it 5-3 was a consolation tally as the Bruins were unable to get back into it.
