It seems like 44-year-old New England Patriots legend Tom Brady retiring was a false alarm.
According to The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, Brady called the Buccaneers Saturday afternoon to inform the team that he’s “not even close to making a decision about retirement.” That was after an influx of reports — which included reliable sources in ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport — saying the quarterback was retiring.

Brady’s father, Tom Brady Sr., also told Kylen Mills and Kron4 News that the 15-time Pro Bowler does not intend to retire.
