According to Heavy.com’s Steve Bulpett, Jaylen Brown could move on from the Boston Celtics this summer.
He also stated that Brown has not requested any trade nor have the Celtics been shopping him around. If the two were to part ways, it would likely be on account of Brown acknowledging that the current fit of the team is off and that he wants some new scenery. Of course, this all depends on whether or not the Celtics go on a run to finish the season.

Brown is averaging 24.4 points on the season and is currently playing his best following his great month of January. He can score in a variety of ways with his deep offensive bag and can also take on some of the tougher defensive assignments in the league. In other words, his versatility can prove to be a valuable asset for any team in the league.
The Celtics should do everything in their power to put the right pieces around Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum so they can finally reach their potential and shut down any possibility of a split between the team and one of its star players. If they cannot solve their issues, don’t be surprised if Brown trade talks begin to heat up.
Although Brown and the Celtics have made it clear that he is currently not on the table, teams around the league will likely keep a close eye on this developing situation.
