Patriots Bring Back Joe Judge as an Offensive Assistant

The New England Patriots are bringing back former New York Giants head coach Joe Judge as an offensive assistant after the departures of Josh McDaniels and Bo Hardegree, the team announced Tuesday. It was first reported by Albert Breer before being made official.

Judge was recently let go by the Giants after two seasons with New York. Prior to that was eight years in New England for the 40-year-old, joining the club in 2012 as an assistant special teams coach. Judge was promoted to kicking game coordinator in 2015 and held that role for the rest of his New England tenure.

The now New England assistant was hired following three years under Nick Saban’s tree at Alabama as a special teams assistant.
