Shams Sharania of The Athletic reported that the Boston Celtics will send Josh Richardson Romeo Langford, and a first-round pick to the Spurs in exchange for Derrick White.

This deal will use up the remainder of the Evan Fournier trade exception from last season and create a new one worth $11.6 million from Richardson’s contract. The Celtics will remain under the luxury tax with the inclusion of Langford in the deal.

White is a combo guard who can play at either the point or shooting guard position. He is posting averages of 14.4 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game this season, while his three-point shooting percentage is down to a career-low 31.4 percent but he is knocking down over 46% of his corner threes this season.

The Celtics recently just dealt Bol Bol and P.J. Dozier to the Magic.
