The Boston Celtics could have some trouble against Joel Embiid Tuesday night when they take on the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center, as Robert Williams will be out — though Boston will have guard Marcus Smart.

Smart was listed questionable after a non-COVID illness, and Williams will be out with right calf tightness — the team announced after the two were listed as questionable earlier.

The Celtics will also have Daniel Theis, who will be making his first Celtics appearance of 2022. Ime Udoka said Theis will be available Tuesday — after missing the past two Celtics games — as the trade officially went through. He was acquired at the deadline by Boston, as he should get some solid minutes in Williams’ absence.

Boston’s tipoff vs. Philadelphia is at 7:30 p.m. EST, as the Celtics will look for their ninth straight win.
