The Boston Celtics are picking up some extra shooting for their bench with their new acquisition of Nik Stauskas. The deal would have Stauskas remain with the team for the remainder of the season and all of the 2022-23 season.

The Michigan product is fresh off of dropping back-to-back 57 and 43-point games in the G League.

Stauskas has bounced around the NBA since being drafted number eight overall in the 2014 draft by the Sacramento Kings. He has had stops with the Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Portland Trail Blazers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and most recently with the Miami Heat.

Stauskas has averaged a modest 6.8 points per game throughout his career but he has the ability to knock down threes.
