New England Revolution Lineup: Matt Turner Remains Out; Earl Edwards Jr., Henry Kessler Start vs. FC Dallas (3/5/22)

New England Revolution Lineup

The New England Revolution take on FC Dallas in their home opener Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. ET. Matt Turner remains out, as Earl Edwards Jr. will get the start again while Tommy McNamara and Henry Kessler will notably start as well. Here’s how the Revs will line up:

New England Revolution lineup vs. FC Dallas (3/5/22)

GK: Earl Edwards Jr.

DEF: DeJuan Jones, Henry Kessler, Andrew Farrell, Brandon Bye

MID: Matt Polster, Tommy McNamara, Sebastian Lletget, Carles Gil

FWD: Adam Buksa, Gustavo Bou

The Revs get Kessler back into the lineup at CB, replacing Omar Gonzalez from last game’s lineup. The rest of the lineup unsurprisingly stays the same. McNamara continues to beat out the other suitors of a spot in center midfield.

Edwards Jr. gets his second consecutive start in goal with Turner injured and out for a few weeks. Gustavo Bou and Adam Buksa will look to get more involved in the game compared to the match in Portland last Saturday. New England has a great opportunity to grab all three points against Dallas in a home opener matinee.
