The New England Patriots are bringing back safety Devin McCourty on a one-year deal, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapaport, among other reports. Rapaport slates McCourty’s deal to be worth $9 million.
McCourty, who turns 35 in August, then confirmed the deal on his social media account. The 11-year captain of the Patriots had three interceptions in 2021, to go along with 60 tackles (42 solo).
