The Boston Celtics host the Utah Jazz Wednesday night, at 7:30 p.m. ET, and they’ll get Robert Williams and Marcus Smart back for the action. Aaron Nesmith will also be heading to Maine.

The two missed Monday’s win over the Thunder, as Smart was out with a non-COVID illness and Williams had right patella tendinopathy — an injury located at the knee. Nesmith has had a funky recovery with his ankle sprain, though he was available vs. Oklahoma City. The two will return Wednesday, as Udoka and the team announced.

“No restrictions,” coach Ime Udoka said Monday. “He went through his progression, he was up and down, so he’d be pain-free one day and then be more sore the next day.”

Nesmith will head to the Maine Celtics to get some minutes, an opportunity that was wasted as he wasn’t able to get some garbage time minutes after the Thunder made a late comeback attempt.

“We wanted to get him some minutes, and that would’ve been the plan if the fourth didn’t get so close,” Udoka said. “Like I said, the plan was to get him in in the fourth quarter till the lead shrunk there.”
